week 16 new looks: making the list

starting to appreciate lightness and brightness in my wardrobe. more than i ever thought i would. also, something really special about these printed pieces. maybe it is the illusions created by them. maybe it is the combination of dark and light (i have some of the lighter denim printed pieces en route -- will see if they have the same appeal/impact as these dark denim ones). whatever it may be, i think these are definitely going to make the favourite purchases (from the 125 collection) list.

i am wearing rundholz dip 125 (jackets, pullover, trousers and high tops).

week 15 new looks: orange-ally it was going to be ...

when i was first exploring the rundholz dip collection for this spring/summer, i immediately fixated on the denim pieces. but i was torn between the bleachwash and the stonewash colour ways. i thought doing the mandarine orange wash over black denim might be a solution (the avoidance tactic). but (of course) the moment i started thinking about the mandarine orange wash denim, i strayed over into the non-denim pieces in mandarine orange. looking at non-denim pieces lead me to think about the blue colour ways that they were available in (royal, ocean, ink). which brought me right back to the stonewash denim pieces (and the stonewash versus bleachwash dilemma). i suspect that i will end up going with: a little bit of bleachwash denim. a little bit of stonewash denim. a little bit of mandarine orange wash black denim. a little bit of the mandarine orange non-denim. and, just a smidge of the ocean non-denim (mostly pullovers).

week 14 new looks: the thing about denim

the thing about denim is that it works in every season. so while this may be denim from a spring/summer collection, it doesn't look out of place in a wintery spring.

i am wearing rundholz dip 125 (everything except black high tops, which are rundholz dip 123).

week 13: the last of 224

conceived but not (yet) realized. rehearsed but not (yet) performed. very much preoccupied with denim these days. although i could still be wearing rundholz dip 224 (the weather is like that where i live), too distracted by the rundholz dip 125 denim pieces to notice the opportunities afforded by rundholz dip 224. (i know i will avail myself of those opportunities sooner or later. just following my heart/instinct at the moment.)
