the tale:

as the mercury rises, i am slowly coming to appreciate white. way back in spring, i thought that i would be wearing white during the summer, but, as summer commenced, i couldn't fathom wearing anything other than black. now i realize what was lacking: hot, sticky summer days. now that they have made their appearance, and seem to have settled in for a long stay, white is really calling out to me (okay, more like screeching at me). admittedly, i am not dressing head to toe in white, but i feel that that is not too far away now.
