from the wardrobetales rundholz repository (no. 20 09 19 18)

sometimes you want to look (or feel) like you are wearing soft sculpture. so you put something like this on. and then it rains. unexpectedly. or maybe you just forgot to check the daily forecast before setting out for the day, so you would have known better than to wear soft sculpture that day. of course you don't have an umbrella with you. not that an umbrella would help given how hard the rain is coming down. you try to decide what's worse: that your soft sculpture will get wet or that your shoes will get wet. you decide that getting your shoes wet will be worse than getting the soft sculpture wet. so you try to wait out the downpours under shelters, walk outside only when it is raining lightly and avoid puddles at all costs (who cares if passersby look at you funny when you jump from one side of the sidewalk to the other and immediately back again -- you have shoes to save and it's not like you aren't watching out for and avoiding running into them). you survive the day, soft sculpture and shoes relatively unscathed. but your desire to look (and feel) like you are wearing soft sculpture is dampened. at least for the moment.

i am wearing rundholz mainline s/s 2018 (shoes) and rundholz dip s/s 2018 (dress, jacket, skirt and trousers).
