true story (spoiler alert: it is not all that interesting in any way). i wore this outfit to a holiday lunch with one of the "teams" that i belong to. in the restaurant, we were seated at a table that had a banquette on one side of the table and chairs on the other. i elected (not exactly sure why) to sit on the banquette. and not at the end of the banquette, but in the middle. which meant that it had to slide, not only myself, but also my volumes of clothes along the banquette. at that exact moment i realized that a banquette and wearing volumes of clothes are not compatible. next time that i am wearing volumes of clothes (and, let's face it, when am i not) and have to chose between sitting in the middle of a banquette and a chair, i will opt for sitting on the chair (good view of the other diners in the restaurant be damned). happy new year to all! thanks for stopping (or continuing to stop) by.
