from the wardrobetales rundholz repository (no. 20 09 19 17)

has anyone seen the french film (from many years ago) titled "amelie"? this colour reminds me of it.

i am wearing rundholz mainline a/w 2017 (chelsea boots) and rundholz dip a/w 2017 (top and skirt).

I am intrigued by your association of this color and the film Amelie. I teach a class in Paris each summer in which students watch this film and then visit Amelie's neighborhood in Montmartre, the Cafe des Deux Moulins, etc. I'd be very curious to know the association(s) you have made if you care to divulge. Thanks! Jan

thanks, theoldvicarage. funny you should ask about the fit.i have found the mainline footwear this a/w on the biggish size ... as usual. oddly, i have found the black label footwear this a/w running truer to size ... and, in some cases (some of the pull-on boots), a bit on the smaller side.

jan, i think it is the art direction that i am thinking of, the colour scheme of the film. if i recall correctly, there is a lot of this green colour (along with red) in the film.

The red, yes . . . that green, I have to admit I don't really recall it. I will have to watch the film again and be more attuned to the color choices and compositions. It is truly one of the great greens. Thanks, as always, Jan
