from the wardrobetales rundholz repository (no. 20 09 05 18)
a new dress from s/s 2016. meaning: i bought it in s/s 2016 but didn't wear it until just now. when it comes to rundholz, i have to say that i am a bit of a collector (no, it's true!). unlike with many other labels whose clothes i buy for wearing -- i like to say that i am a consumer of the label -- if i don't wear a piece of clothing within two years, even a year, of buying it, i am unlikely to ever wear it and i know that i can safely (and i often do) remove it from my closet -- with rundholz, i buy things because i like them. period. i don't particularly worry about wearing them because i somehow know that, if i don't wear something immediately, the time will come when i will wear it. this has been my experience with the label since i started buying it. which is why i call myself a collector of it. but, to be clear, i don't collect for the sake of collecting. i collect for the sake of wearing it ... either immediately or at some point in the future. (dizzy yet?) with this dress (as with some other pieces) it was all about timing. now was the right time.
i am wearing rundholz black label s/s 2018 (sneaks) and rundholz black label s/s 2016 (dress, jacket and trousers).

Still loving those '16 reds . . . Curious what "colors" you've selected from the aw18 collections. I was quite taken with the Dip khaki and Black Label Mocca, myself.
Thanks for the great posts,
Jan
The nice thing about Rundholz it is timeless...i'm still wearing clothes I bought years ago and I wear them with pleasure!
jan, in the dip collection, i have mostly gone with the khaki, with some dark green and green pieces. in the black label collection, i have mostly gone with the vert, with a few pieces in anthra. this may be the first season, in countless seasons, that black pieces won't dominate my wardrobe.
I'll look forward to seeing how you style these aw18/19 pieces!
