the beauty of some of the clothes that i wear is that they are so amenable to having an extra layer added to them (when i need more warmth) without any real impact on the resulting outfit. exhibit "a" above: i am wearing one more layer than the number of layers that i wore a few days ago. while i certainly felt warmer with the extra layer, from an observer's perspective, i don't think the two outfits look that dissimilar.
