managing a full day without jacket

another sure sign that i am accepting the arrival of spring: showing a little flesh.

it is nice (really, really nice) to be able to go outside with just my favourite light cotton jacket for protection against the elements.

the anti-suit is now available with a choice of four shirts -- white, lime, white print and lilac print (the print being a stylized parrot). i decided to go with a shirt of my own choosing -- the charcoal/grey bellini print. i like it.

spring cleaning dress

here is my secret to a successful spring wardrobe cleaning: no thinking. if i start thinking (any amount) about all the marvelous ways that i might wear an item of clothing that i haven't worn in at least a year (if not two ... or, in some cases, never), the item will never leave my closet. so ... no thinking. i act on gut instinct alone.

bearer of bad news boots

i never thought of these boots as a perfect (or at least a good or suitable) rain boot. but they are (perfect, good and suitable). the rubber box platform sole ensures that your foot sits above the waterline of some pretty deep puddles!
