black, white and blue. one of a few colour combinations that i have in store for this summer. this one is particularly cool. (and i don't mean "cool" in the "neat" sense but in the "cold" sense. although i do happen to think the colour combination is "cool" in the "neat" sense as well.)

o the mystery skirt

now that i have figured out what i want to wear when i am out among the populace, i need to figure out what my very casual, stay at home, do nothing but watch tv and/or dvds or read a good book self would be comfortable wearing. a few weeks back, i thought that this self could live in lulu. but, as luck would have it, as soon as i decided that that might be a real possibility, lulu became boring (again). i am trying to convince myself that waiting for lulu to become interesting again is the way to go. i shouldn't settle right?

almost an entire girl band top and jacket

i can't remember another year (but i am sure there must have been one) when the first day of summer actually ushered in the first day of summer. the day before the first day of summer, spring. and, the first day of summer, summer. i also can't remember another year (and, in this case, i am not sure that there has been one) when i managed to dress appropriately for the first day of summer. i will relish this, what i am sure will be a rare, occurrence.

deep pockets tops

it may be a little too early to be predicting (or speculating about) what kind of summer it is going to be around my parts this year, but i am going to go ahead and do it just the same. i feel like it is not going to be a hot one. if it turns out not to be a hot one, it will just figure. because i bought plenty of hot summer clothes this year. but whatever. i also have a sufficient amount of not so hot summer clothes. it's all good.

i don't think that i have ever worn two jackets together, but, hey, there is always a first time for everything.
