stories from a journey through fashion and style
As a lover of fashion and Rundholz. I was so happy to find you. You are truly amazing and I am so thankful to see how you style Rundholz. I have a store near me and I have been curious how to style it and sometimes didn't buy it because of that. I am now searching the internet for some of your pieces and sad I turned them down. You are fabulous please keep it up. What do you think of this jacket ? I saw you owned it and wanted your opinion. I am thinking of purchasing it. Is it warm? Could it be worn inside? I live in California and not sure it would suit me. By chance could you style it again ? I am a student on a limited budget so I have to buy SUPER functional pieces. Thanks so much- Georgette https://www.farfetch.com/shopping/women/rundholz-oversized-padded-jacket-item-11144956.aspx
thanks for your comment georgette. you are right that i have the jacket that you referenced. i only use it as an outdoor jacket and only when the temperature is between minus ten and zero degrees celsius. while i like the jacket, it is not one of my most versatile "coats" from rundholz. i hope this helps!
Thank you! That helps so much I have found so many retailers that have Rundholz sales and my go to store in San Francisco does as well. If you need another store to get your Rundholz fix let me know. Hope you have a good new year and look forward to more posts!Could I by chance ask another Rundholz collection question in regards to the letter collection of spring/summer 2016?
georgette: glad to hear that you are finding some rundholz sales! and i am always happy to answer questions about my experience with the rundholz collections. so ask away! thanks for your new year's wishes! i hope you have a good 2017 as well.
What do you think of this item? Were you able to try it on etc? I saw you had the top and wondered what you thought of this collection?https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/04/77/d8/0477d88281c8d71f9ab2d158fa33c907.jpg
georgette: i loved this piece last summer. so much so that i got it in solid black and then later in the grey print. i wore it as a sleeveless dress (as in the picture) and as a jumper dress over both short sleeve and long sleeve tops. i also layered lightweight cotton pullovers over it. the piece also converts to a jacket -- the ties at the waist are sleeves -- and i did wear it as a jacket. definitely a versatile piece.
i forgot to mention that the fabric of the piece is french terry. so comfortable. and easy to care for.
