from the wardrobetales rundholz repository (no. 20 06 06 16)

i know how to sew. i know how to do alterations. that said, i have a pretty strict rule against purchasing anything that requires alterations or modifications. why? because finding time to do alterations or modifications to clothing is difficult. if i buy something that needs altering, it can sometimes be months ... even years ... before i get around to it. the skirt that i am wearing here is a case in point. it is part of the rundholz dip s/s 2014 collection. i wanted to wear it when i bought it and i wanted to wear it last spring/summer. but it needed some modifications to the waistband. i finally got around to making those modifications. maybe this is just another example of clothing waiting for the right time.

i am wearing rundholz black label s/s 2016 (top and jacket), rundholz s/s 2016 (boots) and rundholz dip s/s 2014 (skirt).
