Red Kerchief Hat

At the end of the Summer, a friend and I decided that, this Fall, we were going to go on a trip down memory lane and do something that neither one of us has done since our high school days:  Go to the local Winter fair.  That's what we did today:  We went to the local Winter fair (a misnomer, in my opinion, since it isn't officially Winter yet, but it has been called the Winter fair -- and not the Fall fair -- for as long as I can remember).  I think that both us got a little nervous about what we would find when we got to the Winter fair, for, on our way there, we admitted to each other that each of us thought that the Winter fair might prove to be a dud.  "Well," my friend said, "we can always find something else to do.  There are plenty of other things to do."  The Winter fair did not prove to be a dud.  Among other things, it was really fun checking out genuine riding clothes.

I am wearing an old Urban Outfitters blouse, an old JCrew wool zip pullover, old Lands End skinny jeans, an old Roots buffalo check plaid jacket, an old Wildhagen hat, an old H&M scarf and texting gloves from H&M (this is what I discovered today some people call what I have been calling fingerless mitts).  My Chelsea boots are Fluevogs.  I am carrying an old cotton canvas souvenir satchel.

how curious, only recently I've noticed that powder blue, baby blue goes so well with red, and now I see it on you.

Wow! That is so interesting! I love it when such coincidences occur.
