How I ended the work week last week is how I have chose to begin the work week this week, from a clothing point of view.
Or, maybe, I just really like those three plaid shirts that I got at Urban Outfitters last week. Sadly, I won't be able to wear the third one until Fall; it is a flannel shirt, and it is much, much too warm to be wearing (in my home city, at least) at this time of year! Ah well, I really don't mind. I have already styled it, for future reference, in two different, although admittedly similar, ways (which means, in a sense, I have already had the pleasure of wearing it).
Every once in a while, I feel like I have to say a bunch of things about my wardrobe, my clothing choices, my style that are unrelated to each other, just a bunch of random things. Today is one of those times. So here are today's random thoughts about my wardrobe, my clothing choices and my style.
Random thought one: While doing the "Favourite Outfit Of The Week" post this morning, it occurred to me that my footwear of choice these days all seem to begin with the letter "F". It seems that I am wearing nothing but Fluevogs and Fryes these days!
Random thought two: I feel like my clothing is transitioning into Fall, at least with my colour palette.
Random thought three: I seem to be favouring a style that I like to call "Western Geek Chic" (which I believe to be an amalgam of my school girl style of dressing and my 60s Western style of dressing). On further reflection, and maybe it is as a result of looking at the Dear Creatures Fall 2010 collection, and reading about the inspiration behind it, I think "Western Geek Chic" has a smidgen of "Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing" in it (and a pinch of Nancy Drew too).
